Programmers are EVIL

my Wordpress blog was sabotaged for a few days until I decided enough is enough and took the initiative to solve the problems myself. The problem started when my Prompt theme crashed due to wrong advise by the Malay programmer to install 'black hole' plugin that caused the theme crash and you have to pay USD 60 a year to restore it. I made the wrong mistake by trusting a certain programmer named D Jiang from China to solve for me. Well, he did solve, but added more bugs and then disappeared, refusing to reply for the mess he created. Then I had to go to Freelancer.com another wrong choice to pay USD 10 at the minimum to solve the bugs. A certain Indian woman programmer with a site at VictorDeal.com solved for me and asked for more money and even asked for his brother too to increase his credentials without working and coding a thing. I was naive to listen and did as told. Then eventually, I discovered that my footer disappeared altogether. Another programmer wanted USD 30 to solve this. I had enough of this nonsense of solving the problem and adding more bugs in my blog that I decided to use Activello theme which I am very pleased by adding the ads myself.

Make Hay while the Sun Shines

The idiom, 'Make Hay while the Sun Shines,' certainly ring a bell. It means work hard in the prime of your youth before aging takes place. And also work smart and make money work for you like taking up good debts such as buying real estate instead of bad debts such as purchasing a car. The real estate will appreciate while the car will depreciate very fast. Rich people read daily at least a few hours to gain knowledge and what better way to learn than to read a book? This is self-discovery learning and is the best form of learning. So, in the meantime, I shall make hay while the sun shines. Before winter comes and the leaves start falling in autumn

Freedom to blog

The good thing about being your own 'boss' is the freedom to work as and when you like without the tight schedule of other people with high expectations. After all the hard work of typing and curating images, you find that you are NOT paid for your time and work done because of Copyscape that says more than 50% of your work is copied! It takes lots of time to find synonyms and rephrase the article and your 'boss' is still not happy! And the pay is not exactly good eighter for hours of work and research. Hence being your own lady boss is the best way to go if you have time and determination to work hard

Blogging for a living

Now it is hard to blog alone for a living without any other work on the side. Luckily, I work in a home office for a friend in his sports surfacing business with weekly travels or sometimes fortnightly travels to Kuala Lumpur. I used to get thousands per month just by blogging and this had increased my savings quite considerably. But alas, the opportunities are no longer there and you even have to bid for a pittance. Therefore, one cannot take things for granted and assume that opportunities will always be there. The economy changes, the website may no longer be profitable with fewer clients, the server may be down constantly or being hacked, etc.

Earning Money is Hard

Earning money is hard. Having no money is hard. So choose your Hard! Money is not the root of all evil. It is poverty that is the root of all evil. Poverty leads people to rob, murder, steal, kidnap, and do a host of evil things to get their hands of some cash. The smarter ones like Nigerian students come enrol in Malaysia and commit love scam using computer lab in their schools. Some even peddle drugs or sell illegal things by the road side. They want the easy way out without having to study hard or work hard using their brains.

Diligence: The Secret to Wealth

Diligence is the secret to wealth. Be motivate in your work and give your 101% best every time. Then you will be successful. As for me, I have to wake up at 5:15am tomorrow in order to leave the place by 6:00am to catch a flight with boarding time at 7:35am to Kuala Lumpur. My partner has an interview with an architect and on Saturday, we will head off to Mandarin Oriental Hotel to stay using the last 50% Elite Club Voucher that expires in February 2017. My spouse has already renewed the Elite Club membership for $888 for another year. After checking out, we will head to my small condo in Rhythm Avenue to rest before catching a plane back to Penang in the evening. I just pray for journey mercies and that the interview would be successful.

Work until you Die

The Bible scriptures in the book of Proverbs tell us to work until the day we die. This is good because we get constant income and exercise, besides keeping dementia at bay like Alzheimer's disease. As you work with your hands and keep your mind active, you should lead a healthy long life right up to your last day when our Maker calls us home to eternity in heaven. In the meantime, share your money with the less fortunate like the blind, paralyzed, disabled, etc. Also, make a will early to prepare for any unexpected eventualities so that your money will go to your favorite charities, your loved ones and next-of-kin. We have been urged to make hay while the sun shines, so that while our body is strong and able, we can work hard for our golden years in time to come.
